Please remove time limit on swap offers. People do not have time to respond because market is small so far.
Also fix beamasset.com which does not recognize CA offers.

Removing the time limit all together for Atomic Swaps isnt going to happen, because those swap offers have to be stored in the nodes. Storing them indefinitely is unnecessary. We can make the window bigger though.
Removing the time limit for Asset Swaps makes even less sense, because we have the DEX.
The Asset Swaps are suitable for direct P2P escrow trades, for which you dont need extremely long offer windows.
BeamAssets works fine, just tested it.

I understand that the sole reason the Atomic/Asset swaps are published for 12 hours is because the SBBS system (that was initially created for something else) has that time window.
I personally agree that, for such OTC swap offers, 12 hours is quite short. It would be nice to have an option to allow 12, 24, 48 or even 72 hours.
Since the SBBS system is now used for multiple things, maybe it would make sense to upgrade it in order to allow messages to hold some sort of validity timestamp. That way, it could then also be used, by instance, for special interactive transactions with a longer validity than 12 hours, and of course also for Atomic/Asset swaps, and for Beam Messenger messages, etc.
