How can I sign something and prove ownership of a beam nft?
Sure, you can sign something with your private key.
But we don’t have a doc for it at the moment. And to make this robust (mitigate man-in-the-middle) there should be a well-defined protocol for that.
Is this likely to happen any time soon? Haven’t seen much in the way of updates.
Technically it’s ~1 hour of work. But the protocol should be well-thought throughout.

The beam website says the latest mobile wallet was June 12 2023, while desktop was May 25 2024. Mobile wallet seems to be stuck at 7.3 all this time while 7.5 is the desktop.
Yeah because we have no developer available at the moment to work on the mobile wallets, this isn’t news. A new desktop wallet release is coming soon, a few things need to be updated and then tested by QA before the release.
