Hi, I’m trying to run an IPv6 only node for shits and giggles, however the fast_sync peers all appear to be IPv4-only and the node appears to only bind to IPv4.
Are there any plans for IPv6 support?
It would be very important for the future, as IPv6 is now the protocol of the internet (“next-gen” label was removed by RFC8200 in 2017).
If there are any questions or concerns regarding IPv6 I’ll happily answer them!
I’d love to contribute using code, but I don’t feel comfortable in C++ yet, which is why I considered starting this discussion.
